Parkinson's home research facility - aka man cave

As part of my New Year's resolutions for 2024, establishing a space at my home where I could do, what I have termed, targeted exercises, was a priority. I already knew that exercising in general would help manage my Parkinson's Disease, but what if I only did exercises that were proven to help ease PD symptoms? Would it help more? That's what I wanted to find out. My targeted exercises were boxing, ping pong, and dancing.

The next thing was to make a space in my garage to have everything set up. I tarped off an area that would be warmer in the winter, and cooler in the summer, then began to acquire what I needed. I set up a heavy bag and a speed bag for boxing, got a sheet of plywood and cut it in half for the ping pong table, and then my Mom sent me her old Nintendo Wii so I could play Just Dance on it. Then, to make the lighting more homier and friendly, I installed some sunlight bulbs. For everything I ordered I have Amazon links below.

So far, everything has gone well, and I am noticing a difference. I will keep everyone updated in the future.

Our doctor never recommended any dietary solutions to her cholesterol issue. Statin drugs restrict the liver from producing cholesterol and this is supposed to solve her problem. Through research I found that our brain, our muscles and ever our heart required cholesterol to function properly. That is why our liver produces it. Within…
