Just think back to that time you were getting dressed for bed, getting ready for an outing, or just everyday chores, and suddenly, you couldn't finish the job. Have you been there? I have. It is debilitating, and sometimes even dignity robbing. Each time my wife Hayley and I encounter that situation, we sometimes would get back to the conversation about going completely buttonless with my wardrobe. We never made it to the finish line of that idea, let alone the first corner, too many things just got in the way. Thankfully we don't need to think about that goal anymore, since our recent connection with MagnaReady, the apparel company that has it all figured out already.
MagnaReady makes their clothes for a purpose; to have adaptive apparel designed for everyone. Based on my experience testing the sample products they supplied, I have to agree with them wholeheartedly. Their clothing is truly adaptive, and I could manage it in a Parkinson's OFF state. Amazing!
The quality of their products also stood out for me. At first glance I could not tell that the fleece I was putting on was, in essence, meant to solve a mobility issue. For me, anyhow, when I have encountered products like that in my past, those items always stick out like a sore thumb, and bring attention to the issue at hand, rather than shield it in a shroud of true realism. When I first picked up the blue fleece, blue is my favorite color of course, I could tell it was of a high quality and was something special. Something I would call a forever shirt. The buttons were in the right places, besides the missing button slits(which I did not notice until I looked for them) and all the stitching and manufacturing process appeared flawless. The magnetic devices worked as expected, made full and proper contact to maintain the desired appearance, were easy to engage and disengage. Everything coalesced to create a picturesque perfect product made for a purpose; and a picture is worth a thousand words.
MagnaReady also comes with an inspiring history! The founder and creator of the first MagnaReady items and latched onto the magnetic clothing solution because her husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's at an early age, and one day, as a college football coach at an away game, was unable to finish dressing himself in the locker room. Thankfully a player was able to help him. Not only did she provide a solution for her husband, who told her how embarrassed he was, feelings I have had, I am sure there are many others out there as well. She was also able to give many their dignity back, a lovely and loving thing to do for so many, as well as her husband.

Note from the manufacturer:
The magnets can interfere with certain medical devices, but not all - so those that are interested definitely should ask their physician for approval, but it's not a guaranteed deal breaker if they are using some equipment or have specific implants - just need to be cautious and always check!
